With Mayweather/Marquez and Pacquiao/Cotto fighting at catchweights i decided to make my top 10 of boxers in the 140-147 devisions.
    1. Manny Pacquiao. Hear for now has two very close wins over Juan Manuel Marquez. Was very impresive in beating Hatton.
    2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.. If he were active he'd be #1.
    3. Juan Manuel Marquez. Many belive he beat Pacquiao both times.
    4. Shane Mosley. Impresive in his win over Margrito but how good was Margrito realy?
    5. Paul Williams. His size makes him hard to beat has win over Margrito but same question for Mosley goes for Willams avanged his only loss. Might wind up fighting 154-168 more than 140-147.
    6. Miguel Cotto. has wins over Mosley and Clotty. Although not domant in eather. I'm not making this thread to bash Margrito but we must question his loss to him.
    7. Timothy Bradley faces Nate Cambell soon. Has wins over Junior Witter and Kendall Holt.
    8. Joshua Clottey. His fight with Cotto could have gone either way.
    9. Ricky Hatton. Only losses are to Mayweather and Pacquiao.
    10. Andre Berto. He's still a work in progress.

I guess i'll be the first to disagree, Manny did beat Hatton, but there are many names from 140-147. The thing with boxing that im seeing and its hurting the sport, a fighter beats the most popular guy and becomes known as the best. There is whole list of fighters Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Collazo, Cintron, Berto, Campbell, Bradley, Witter, Judah, Williams, Quintana, the list could go on for days. These guys are working hard, fighting each other, and Manny doesnt deserve to be #1 yet at 147, who hasnt really even fought at 147 with respectable prime healthy opponent in that weight class. I will understand if hes rated at 140, but not 147. Mayweather has been inactive and if that was the case he still beat a healthier DLH and the first to beat Hatton, and we all know Hatton is good, but not great when it comes to big fights. Marquez has never fought at 140 and far from 147, so how the hell is he rated higher than the rest:patsch If anyhting guys like Margarito, Williams, Cotto, Mosley and even Berto have fought more legit fighters than Manny or Marquez at those specific weight class. A lot of lack of research in this one.

Like the list except for Mayweather. Had he been fighting hed prolly have some losses on his record, he aint fooling no one, he retired and let the top welters fight each other. The only man hes faced on the list is Hatton, its ****ing pathetic. He does not have one significant win in either division. I mean i guess you can say Hatton, but a lot of the top welters beat him anyway. All this hype about PBF is about what he has done before not lately.

I am sure its based on resume as well. Plus I don't really see the point in his inclusion anyway, it doesn't seem like he will be fighting at that weight anytime soon.

So why would Marquez be number 3, if hes never fought at 140 or God forbid 147:lol:, this is a joke.
