What is that suppose to mean? "He's a teenager, he can take it easy, be mediocre!" This is a man who wants to become a world champion, he has to work very very hard. The life of a champion is a very tough life and Amin has to be ready for that. If you want to be a champion, you must live like a champion. [yt]s8-ooWTkBvo[/yt]
It can be his main focus he's a teenager. What does he have to lose? A shot at being great? Me on the other hand, I have a wife, 2 kids, and a career, but still live boxing.
Micky Ward, the man who fought Gatti had a job too so you can still be a dedicated pro athlete and have other obligations. Also Joe Frazier too had a job when he was coming up.
xRedx didn't put it in the best way (i.e implying that amin does not have a great record) but I can tell he really just wants the best for amin and is trying to push him to become a world champion. So guys chill out he just came across the wrong way. And Amin don't worry, I have heard of amateurs who have suddenly clicked (put everything together) and gone out to win 60+ matches undefeated. As long as you are improving and learning from each match at this stage you are making progress. It is only a matter of time before you become virtually unbeatable, that is if you continue to bust your ass and sacrifice yourself for the sport.
