OK , here goes. Froch way way too high. He isn't some over rated bum either. But outside of the top 20. Conteh and Hatton also too high , very popular but in reality were both pretty limited. I also struggle with Haye, fought in a very poor era of Cruisers then went and beat the worst Heavy champ in living history. Bruno would smash him to pieces.
Froch is a toughie to place. He did have an amazing run of top quality fights, but he could not conquer Ward... I think he will not get any higher, and may indeed dip in due course. Conteh was a brilliant natural talent as well as very popular. And although he did not live up to his full potential, he certainly built an impressive resume. Hatton was not as gifted and indeed failed against the very best of his era. But the form he showed leading up to and including the Tszyu fight was as good as anything in the UK at the time. I take Bruno to beat Haye in a prime vs prime performance. But I do not think a 200lbs Bruno beats a 200lbs Haye. I also do not see the depth of resume from the Bomber that you see from David's.
