Now my picks for my fights -

Frazier W15 SD Marciano (A complete war with Frazier coming from behind to grab the tightest of victories after being down in the 2nd)

Liston KO6 Foreman (I really dont know with this one, it could go either way by KO, my most difficult choice next to the one below)

Louis W12 SD Tyson (The 2 greatest power + speed HWT punchers, this could go either way & either could win by Ko or pts, a complete toss-up but same as above, I always like to pick one)

Ali W12 UD Lewis (Lateral movement & speed enable Ali to outland Lewis throughout without really hurting the big guy)

Johnson W15 UD Dempsey (Lack of footage but judging on styles & reputation I think Johnson might just frustrate Dempsey by making him miss a lot & counter effectively for the most part despite taking the odd sizzler)

Holmes W15 MD Walcott (Classic technical match in which Holmes jab scores enough to bag a very close decision in a match were neither are badly hurt but both have massive respect for each others ability)

Tunney W12 UD Holyfield (Gene takes a lead early on by outboxing Evander, tho not by much but enough to win most rds, by the time Holy makes this a war, its too late as Tunney stays with him enough to keep his lead but Holy does narrow the gap enough to probably earn a rematch)

Excellent picks all of them. I think Zaire Ali against Marciano would be very interesting. Frazier vs Holyfield would probably be the most exciting though.

    Some recent bouts that didn't come of/interesting matchups;

    1. Lewis--Bowe early 90's, of course.
    2. Morrison--Hide from that cancelled Arum China bout. I think Herbie had a decent shot at winning this, although the gambling line was Morrison. A live underdog in maybe a 3 round fight.
    3. Vitali Klitschko--Tyson 2001 or so > Klitschko won WBO title. That was the bout klitschko said he wanted and that was the timeframe Tyson was going up against Neilsen/Francis and those other guys.
    4. Holyfield--Ibeabuchi > Ike beat Chris Byrd.
    5. Tyson--Tua in New Zealand. I always wanted to see how Tyson would handle the road warrior role & I always thought Tua would be about a 25% better fighter with that homecourt advantage in a big fight.

#1 Jack Johnson vs Muhammad Ali.

This fight would be the closest thing to a chess match in the ring IMO. The deciding factor would be the fighter who lands more punches attacking and countering while eluding punches.

#2 Floyd Patterson vs Rocky Marciano

This is a fight that could've happened if Marciano didn't retire early and tragically lose his life. I think it could have been similar to the match that Marciano had with Ezzard Charles.

    3. Evander Holyfield vs Ken Norton

A battle between two of the best physiques the sport has ever seen when both fighters were at their primes.

    4. George Foreman vs Earnie Shavers

Considering what Ron Lyle did to Big George and the excitement they brought in their fight, I would have loved to have seen what Earnie Shavers would have done against Foreman, even if it happened during George's second reign as champion.

    5. Joe Frazier vs Mike Tyson

Perhaps two of the greatest swarming, pressure fighters in the history of the sport. Frazier's left hook was arguably the best in heavyweight history while Tyson's right hand is often compared to Foreman, Shavers, Liston and Lennox Lewis in terms of overall power. Tyson's left hook is not that far off from Frazier's as well, but still not as sharp a punch as Smokin' Joes.

Honourable mention, forgive me for the Johnny Cochrane.

    Jerry Quarry vs Tommy Morrison.

The great white hype fight between two solid left hooking punchers, that both cut easier, albeit Quarry a little more than Morrison.
