You might as well say Boxer are prettier than MMA fighters with that logic. Maybe MMA guys have more tattoos and look meaner, how about saying boxers have more hair on their legs? Maybe boxing is better because they fight in a square instead of cage? How about boxing is better because they have better hair styles? No I have it boxing is better because eat raw eggs and there are more boxing movies than MMA movies? Maybe boxing is better because they take bigger turds?

Well, the bottom line is that some people find golf amazingly exciting to watch. To each his own.
I find basketball incredibly dull, but I don't feel the need to constantly bash it. I generally just ignore it.

Of course, it seems some boxing fans on this forum can't resist continually starting these threads where they bad mouth MMA, and then run away when they are confronted by actual logic.

Yes Boxing is limited, but a boxer is just as much of a fighter as a mma fighter. Both of them endure tough training and have to deal with an opponent trying to inflict damage in some form or fashion. I respect both sports, but to say boxers aren't fighters is pretty disrespectful.

Boxing has the better more entertain fights, and it ain't even close. Saying that I've never seen Johnny Nelson vs Carlos De Leon in the 'Octagon'.

    6. Boxers dont fight in something called The Octagon.

Sounds like boxing doesn't have any good fights over 147 lbs, and you have to bring up fights from many years ago.

And why do these stupid threads get put in the mma side, most mma fans don't want this crap in this forum because most are boxing fans anyhow and don't feel a need to start a witch hunt on the other sport. I still watch boxing and don't have a problem with it besides the way it is run.

That's the most asinine thing I've seen on these boards, and that says something. It's quite difficult to defend against a takedown, especially against a high-caliber wrestler. The most skilled stand-up fighter in the world with no ground training can be taken down at will. And what exactly is "fighting properly?" The point of fighting is winning, and fighting on the ground to neutralize someone's punching ability goes along way toward winning.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Here's a person with a perspective that "ground game" is what he saw in middle school when his little friends fight.
