I agree, they are totally different.

"MMA is totally different, I wouldn't even call it a sport, its a dog fight man,"

Don't try to take the moral high ground after shitting all over MMA in an MMA forum you *******.

I like both combat sports but there is no denying that boxing takes much more skill than mma. No way a guy like lesnar could have 4 pro fights and take out the heavyweight boxing champ its just not ever going to happen their is to much luck involved in mma.

That's stupid reasoning. Compare with what's comparable. You're talking about apples & oranges.

Is that a fact ? Where are your valid evidences to back up this claim ? Do you have peer reviewed journals on the subject or what ?.. What type of skills are you talking about ?... Chirurgeon needs chirurgical skills...a boxer needs boxing skills... an MMA fighter needs wrestling , BJJ , striking skills..

If you're talking about "boxing" skills , then you got a point. As far as "boxing" is concerned.

No **** sherlock !...You know why ? Cause there's no way that a + 275 lbs wreslter would be allowed to pin down the likes of Klitschko & beat the **** out of him on the ground. Why ? Cause it's against the rules !

But since we're talking about mma , and not "boxing" your logic fails miserably.

1 - Lesnar had a free ticket for the belt. (courtesy of Dana White)
2 - Lesnar is a legit NCAA wrestling champion.

and guess what ? Wrestling + brute force is ideal to dominate in MMA.

Compare with what's ****ing comparable !

The day the likes of Povetkin ,Haye , Klitschko , Chagaev etc... will start winning their fights via Kimura or german suplexes , THEN you'll have something to compare with.

OF COURSE Lesnar wouldn't pull the same easy , route in boxing since the guy has no boxing skills to begin with nor would he be allowed to use his ****ing mass to pin down his opponents. He'd be forced to stand and trade.
