    It's reported routinely as such.

Do a web search for "Victor Ortiz converted southpaw". Many articles.

well thought out analysis, can't wait to see how accurate it is on fight night

It's well known that Ortiz is a convert.

Good post, I agree with the wide UD or late (t)ko but think people give Ortiz way too much credit. he is a couple of levels below Floyd and that is going to show in the ring.

Wish Ortiz had proved himself more, but not sure that he is capable - to be honest I think the Berto figth will be the high point of his career when all is said and done.

Really? You think Floyd's would fold after being KD'ed just once?

Floyd is going to shut him out, and possibly stop him late. Ortiz just isn't nearly good enough to compete with boxing's elite fighters.

The way I see it that right hand, Correction those right hands that Shane hit Floyd with were monster shots and you could see his legs cave but for a tenth of a second his legs were back right away the bell upstairs was still buzzed but his legs are stronger than you think.

Meaning IMO if Floyd gets dropped its going to take a clean monster shot and likely he wont get up from that and like I said if he beats the count he gets finished there

I agree. I think that Mayweather has a good chin, and it will take a huge shot to put him down. So he would probably be out on his feet if he gets knocked out, Paul Williams style.
