Anybody Agree With Any Of This?
    Watched It Again To Score(116 112 Joe Btw)and Saw Things I Didnt See Live;

Joe Got Through A Lot More Than I Realized, his Handspeed Making Many Shots Difficult To Spot First Time.hops Straights Right And Fall In/grab Are Easier To Immediately Spot.
Joes Need A 2nd Viewing And A Remote Control To Appreciate, due To His Speed.

Hops Was Physically And Mentally Struggling After Half Way.joe Was Getting To Him,hence The Milking Of The Low Blows, and Breather, plus Possible Point Deductions And Stealing Of The Fight.

Joe Won Quite Convincingly And Hops Was Doing Little More Than Trying To Survive Overall.

I travelled over for the fight and was confident after the 3rd round on. It was only when I text home to be told that TV had him behind I was remotely nervous.

Since being home I've watched it 6 times and everytime you watch it, it becomes more clear cut - he won the fight pretty comfortably !!

Great to get the viewpoint of somebody who was actually at ringside. 2 of the 3 judges obviously agreed with you. But it was a close fight so maybe we can forgive Adalaide Byrd for scoring it 114-113 for Hopkins?

First viewing (while uber drunk) I thought Hopkins was robbed. Calzaghe's punches seemed to have zero effect and were not landing cleanly.

Second I gave it Calzaghe marginally. Noticing more of Calzaghe's shots getting through and Hopkins spoiling.

Third time I had to agree with the last judge who clearly penalised Hopkins for his spoiling tactics, attempting at every junction to hold and headbutt and generally prevent an honest boxing match taking place.

Still feel Calzaghe could have asserted himself more in the later stages but as he said it was extremely difficult to pin Nard down.

my friend (not a joe fan, just a rich boxing follower who boxing himself) who was also at ringside also saw it differently
i texted him in the 9th round saying:
"its not looking good for joe he needs to win all rounds now"

    he texted back to me
"what you on about joe is ahead hopkins is slowing now, joe is dominating him now"

    i text back
"hopkins is throwing 1/2 good shots per round -may steal rounds"
    he text back
" joes connected most times every round -punch count all calzaghe, and connecting easy points punches"

at which point it baffled me either the cameras do not show how many times hopkins got hit or he (at ringside) was seeing 2 calzaghes or a different fight.

end of 12th he texted me:
"everyone here saying JOE won,Joes won, easy 5-7 rounds"

at that point the scores were read
and he was right joe won by SD wider margin then i scored it on TV.

its remarkable how people ringside see things differently to us watching on tv with dumb comenters, its making me think us at home do not see the full picture as the ringside people can see the punches land and swear pour of showing clean connects
