first of all i want to see someone beat floyd..i think floyd looked absolutely superb last night... he really is a great fighter...i am sold now...my take on what happened last night was that shane mosely was not on any epo or other peds....with that being said i dont give a **** who you are, at 39 years of age no matter how hard you workout, it is virtually impossible to have the stamina to box a world class fighter for 12 rounds. if mosely was on epo it wouldve been a different fight.. i also believe if the fight would of taken place 4 5 years ago, mosely wouldve fared alot better... it is my belief that mosely punched himself out in that second round and after that had no stamina what so ever to compete against a world class fighter for another ten rounds.5 years ago mosely wouldve finished floyd in that second round.thats just my opinion.i also could of sworn i heard mosely tell his corner to throw in the towel... did i hear that correctly? i think it was around round 6?????can anyone confirm this?
Mosley didn't punch himself out. Floyd was pressing the action in the last 35 seconds of the 2nd and the entire 3rd. Shane was trying to use his jab to set up shots on Floyd in the 3rd to no avail. Those lead leaping left hooks and Floyd's counter right kept Mosley honest. Mayweather took away all of Mosley's offensive arsenals in that 3rd. Everyone knows Mosley doesn't have a good jab, but that was all he was left with. Being countered way too often after throwing his useless punch made him lose confidence, and having the last minute of round two taken away from him by a pressing forward Floyd killed him psychologically.
i can agree with your assesment its actually a very good one!!!! but mosely also looked very very very tired to me.
