Been trying to get into making videos myself now that I have some additional time to waste. Ezzard Charles is probably next in line for me. Never could make a video less than 8-10 minutes myself, usually having to cut them down from 15 to 20 minutes of footage. I guess that's why most of them haven't gotten many views except for a few that caught on. Can't go wrong with Bob Foster. The likes of Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali already have tons of highlights made about them, so it's best to make videos about more obscure boxers as long as the footage is there. Carlos Ortiz is due for one. Despite not being known as a flashy boxer, he did have a couple of spectacular finishes.
You've got plenty of videos have you not, I've watched numerous ones. Your videos are different though they aren't as appealing to a casual viewer as it's not ko,ko,ko but, I found that they were much more useful that mine for actually evaluating style so appeal more to a really keen follower of boxing. For example before I started watching Jose Napoles fights, I watched your highlight video to get me prepared for what I was about to watch. Anyway keep on going, and you helped me a lot with the footage with your uploaded Bob Foster fights, thanks a lot.
I love this highlight. It really shows the variety of Bob's offense, with some fantastic rights, counter rights and jabs, when a lot of people just think about the lefts that put away Rondon, Tiger, Quarry. Great job
It's weird I have the second highlight video on youtube, I thought he would be way more popular due to his punching power and thanks.
Thanks. I would do a Johnson video but, there is already quite a lot and he's not a fighter I particularly enjoy watching or admire. Also I don't know if you know reznick, but he has a Jack Johnson Highlights that will never be topped lol.
Foster,Monzon, Napoles, Duran, Olivares, that was one heck of an era. When they took away the championship rounds(13-15) they really hurt the fans. Good video.
If you can help me out with the footage I'll happily stick something together, the only fight I can find in a quick browse is Sugar Ray Robinson.
GreatA just called Ezzard Charles in the post above and yeah I do both, I always wanted to a Langford one as there wasn't one with the Jeanette fight and training included. The Les Darcy one was a request by greg luland. Here's the advantages of both. New: Easier to find footage, better quality, more views. Old: less footage to find, the fighters are less popular on youtube, hardcore fans appreciate it more.
I don't think he's seriously calling for a Paul Pender highlight. Pender happened to be one of the most unexciting boxers who ever lived.
