I have recently linked this to the BRITISH COLUMBIA AMATEUR BOXING HALL OF FAME
site so folks that need to question selections or nominations or who is better than the rest
and to enable those that need to question and debate every decision that is made by others.
Hopefully, for those rare birds that need to question or debate every detail are free to do it here.
However, reasonable levels or respect should be maintained.

    CANADIAN PROFESSIONAL BOXING:bbb

    * unlike all other blogs, posts and stories, it was never about the
numbers of how many would read a story or two. But, the link above
will resort to the cruel harsh world of economics and the law of
    SUPPLY and DEMAND.:patsch

The first story is an introduction and the number of visits of the
first page if the story will continue or will the whole journey come
to a quick end with a first round knockout. Will we reach the first
threshold or are we doomed for failure. Will it be :happy or

i am confident that the first threshold will be reached within the next 12 hours
and we can continue the dance of Canadian professional boxing :hammertime:partytime:clap:

2014 BC AMATEUR BOXING HALL OF FAME

The nominees for 2014 have been picked, so the process of
understanding the 23 nominees begins. Some quality nominees
include former boxing great BILLY TOWNSEND in the boxer category.
Some other names in the boxer category include Geronimo Bie,
Jimmy McMillan, Dave Wylie, Willy Curry, Jack Meda, Kit Munro.
Some of the builders with multo-levels of involvementt include
Bert Wilkinson, Bob Pegues, Billy Watson, Howard Curling
and others that are primarily coaches such as Burnaby
sports hall of fame inductee Harry Twist.:happy:bbb

2014 NOMINEES = BC AMATEUR BOXING HALL OF FAME

With the close of nominations, there are 23 choices to sort through.
Some special categories such as Pioneer and Junior/Youth
boxer will be an easy decision picking nominees William J. FINLAY
fro pioneer, and JAME BALLARD for junior/youth. For events, there
are two choices: 1954 Empire Games boxing and the 1994 Commonwealth
Games boxing. For boxers, there are eight choices with a likely top
choice, in my opinion, being BILLY TOWNSEND, some other solid
choices include GERONIMO BIE, JIMMY MCMILLAN and JACK MEDA

The builder category has 11 names with a wide variety of
    contributions - achievements - participation (C A P). For a wide
range of activity over many years, two with extensive "C A P"
are BERT WILKINSON and HOWARD CURLING, with a third being
BOB PEGUES. Then there are those coaches with a long history
of success such as HARRY TWIST who ran a boxing club for over
30 years with a long list of boxers that achieved success such as
Freddy Fuller, Frank and Keith Scott,Ron Wilson, Johnny Phillips
    and Des Archer.
