MY Boy Dirrell will fight southpaw the whole fight!!!

I'm not sure what Dirrel has shown that would mark him out as a threat. He'll look flash early on, then Froch will start landing and wearing him down.

 

I think Andre has the skill set to beat Froch but Victor Ortiz had the skill set to beat Maidana but it didn't happen. It's going to come down to Andre heart, desire and chin but I talked to him at his bros last fight and he was real cool I hope he pulls it out.

 

You need to cut back on that beer Buckdacious its starting to show.

 

One punch can change a fight,problem is landing it and it having enough venom to have the desired effect,i think Froch is far more likely to KO Dirrell than vice versa.Froch is guilty of carrying his left hand low,but hey Dirrell holds both hands low and throws his shots from his hips.When Taylor dropped Froch,it was no more than a flash knockdown,Froch wiped his face,looked to his corner and took a count,he then got up and covered up,if Dirrell gets stung he becomes "Macho Man" and slugs it out (big mistake against Froch).A lot of Frochs previous opponents have said his punches are slow and ponderous and that you can see them coming,well guess what ? he's knocked most of the nay sayers out.
Dirrell's best chance is to fight off his back foot and keep moving,if he gets Macho with Froch he'll be KO'd.Dirrells downfall will be his desire to look good and his Macho attitude.Froch has never looked like being stopped in any of his fights,Dirrell has been wobbled and dropped on a number of occasions,and was only saved by the bell against Rocha.

Can Dirrell win this fight ......yes,maybe he can if he's smart.

Can Dirrell KO Froch ?.......Unlikely

Can Froch win this fight ?.....Absolutely

Can Froch KO Dirrell ?.......Absolutely :good

 

And Dirrell doesn't exactly have a fantastic chin. What's your point?

 

I dont think you need to have a great chin to beat Froch, he is slow and wide, in my eyes he is the english poor mans version of Margarito.....

 

I like Dirrell, but he's shown major flaws in his games, flaws that the cobra can capitalize on by just his pressure alone.
We shall see how good Dirrell takes that sledging right, if he doesn't, it's the Cobra by KO in the middle rounds.

 

I was thinking he's a bit like margarito the other day. The way Froch stalked Taylor in the later rounds of their fight reminded me a bit of Margarito-Cotto.

 

You do if you're Andre Dirrell. I doubt he's going to be able to take those punches on a constant basis. Sure you can dance around him pot-shotting, but sooner or later you're going to get caught with a counter or cornered, and Froch has a great chance of stopping Dirrell anytime the American stops moving around the ring.

It's barely fair to call him a 'poor man's version of Margarito'. For one he has very good amateur pedigree, of which he's translated some of his skills to the pro-ring. He's actually a good counter-puncher, albeit a little slow in the handspeed department. And his jab is good when he uses it consistently, see the Pascal fight in the latter stages. His head movement is admittedly pretty poor, but at least he rolls punches slightly.

Margarito didn't do that at all. You watch the way Mosley's right hands bounced off his head, he didn't have a clue how to move it out of the way. Nor did he really have any skill. All he did was consistently come forward, get his head used as a heavy bag and then end up breaking people down due to illegal padding and stamina. That's not skill. That's due to fitness and cheating.

Fighting southpaw against Froch is a stupid idea. You can't miss Froch with left hands; fight orthodox and rattle his ass with jabs and hooks, stay mobile, maintain your defence, and land the right every chance you get. That's the way to beat Froch.

Dirrell is in over his head. He is going to get knocked the **** out.

 

Dirrell has padded his record by fighting bums in America and he thinks he can then come over to Europe and compete with some of the best? He will be KO'd in the first four rounds, he won't react well to the pressure and power Froch will confront him with.
