I'm not getting this. The guy gets overwhelmed. The last thing you want to do if you want his confidence to grow is overwhelm him even more, he needs to get used to it slowly.
yeah thats what i mean, get him in there with hard hitters (sparring) so hell adjust. sorry if ya thought i meant something else.
That's not what I meant at all. I'd keep him away from the hard hitters until he adjusted. Anyway, let's agree to disagree here.
I agree with RDJ's sentiments, a lamb to the slaughter is no use to anyone. Stick him in with guys who aren't really going to hurt him until he is confident enough to let his hands go, and then up the opposition slowly.
I agree with RDJ on this. have to take it slow with boxers like these. I´ve seen other trainers just force their boxers into the ring with bangers and even force them in to real fights. then when they lose the trainer says, "oh he did that and that wrong" I usually thing " perhaps he need to change trainer cause it´s the trainer who do all the fault in that situation. Take it slow with your boxer, give him time and you will solve the problem together, it will not help to make it worse for him. All the best The predator
He needs to keep technique, brawlers usually throw technique out the window and tend to throw wild punches. What he needs to do is use his footwork to step inside, and side to side.
he just needs to keep on working on his techniques, maybe more on block and counters. But he should also have a training partner or coach that getts him to move around the ring. And probably teach him what to do when he getts stuck in a corner, how to pivot and get out of there
