Yes, it was a close fight. I may not have been terribly upset with a draw but C'MON GUYS! Mosley? 116-112 is what I believed to be a fair score. 115-113 is acceptable as well. 114-114 would have been a stretch. But where do you guys get off giving the fight to Mosley??? It deeply saddens me to see this. Either you are terribly biased or you're simply of below average intelligence.

Boxing is a business, and not a particularly well-regulated one.

I watch the sport because of the fighters -- they have heart, they have courage, etc.

That's why I get so upset seeing stuff like this. It's a discredit to the sport and to the work a guy like Mosley puts in. And, it takes away from Cotto's greatness. He doesn't need decisions like this for his legacy.

He doesn't need to win convincingly for his legacy???

    Answer my original question properly!

Shane -- You are one hell of a fighter, and you deserved the nod tonight. If you or anyone you know reads this, just know that some of us do know the sport and we know how it goes.

Big props to you on a great performance at age 36.

I had it a draw, 114-114. If I remember correctly, 3 rounds could have gone either way (I think the 3rd, 5th, and 10th rounds), but I gave two of them to Shane, so if they got shifted in Cotto's direction, I could see a decision for Cotto. Fantastic fight. I'd love to see them do it again. Both very classy guys, throwing very hard punches. I've got new respect for Cotto's chin. If they do it again, Shane's gotta work that uppercut more, and Cotto's gotta work that jab non-stop. But more importantly I think Shane's toughness and heart took Cotto into deep water towards the end of the fight and I disagree - Its not such a robbery. What class acts, great fighters and a great fight. Shane is still one of my favs, what heart by both men. They never ran their mouth the whole time leading up to the fight and they went out and gave everything they had. I'm a bit upset that Shane lost but I am still a Shane and a Cotto fan. Two fantastic weekends of fights in a row!

Cotto didn't hurt Mosley as Mosley did to him on later rounds...

Not. I scored it 114-114 but it was a very tough fight to score.

    I completely agree.

To repeat: I had the fight EVEN after 8 rounds, and felt Cotto -- the younger guy who was 'the unstoppable, will-breaker' -- would close the show strong.

How surprising to see him running the last 4 rounds.

Mosley finished very strong, and should have gotten the nod.

HATERS...HATERS...HATERS! this was a very good close fight but cotto won. he didn't run in the last four rounds he did exactly what mayweather does every fight perserved a victory. it's just something he doesn't usually do. emanuel steward even said it that mosley was pushing the fight in the later rounds cotto was still landing the cleaner more effective punches. cotto had a clear lead going into the last three round and still won the eleventh. if mosley didn't disagree with the decision how could anyone else. lederman had cotto ahead, hellerman had cotto ahead, all three espn writers had cotto ahead even mosley had cotto ahead. cotto is going to have to beat hatton and mayweather at the same time and then rematch and ko mosley in the same night in order for you esb haters to give him his due credit. he beat a legitimate top ten fighter and future hall or famer.

116-112 or 117-111 for Cotto. Lederman was corrupt, Cotto won the first 3 rounds no way Mosley win one of these rounds.

During the fight I was like..., it's not that close, Lederman is biased, well, you guys are idiot, plain and simple.

One of the easiest fight ever to score.

i also think that Mosley won. 1st - 8th, i had cotto ahead 5 rounds to 3. 9th round through 12th was all Mosley.

    Cotto didn't win this fight:nono
