Everyone expects Floyd to win and he is by far the most complete fighter Ortiz has faced by I have seen guys that believe in themselves rise to the occasion and this is one reason I am paying $70 bucks for this fight.....Ortiz seems to have a hunger and confidence...10 out of 10 experts are picking Floyd but if Ortiz brings the fight he has been projecting and he is hungry he has a good chance...He has to want it and not look for the lucky punch but throw odd angled punches in bunches and get out and then back in.....could turn out to be an interesting fight despite Floyd picking Ortiz...could be an upset but attitude and perseverance and odd angles and pressure are key and we are asking a lot.... but timing may be right

I hope Ortiz wins it, but I doubt it.

Ortiz is an athlete but I do not think he has the skill or the determination to run Mayweather close unless Mayweather has lost a step. His plan of making it a war on the inside might fall apart once he starts running into Floyd's elbows and gets worked over with uppercuts. That's his only chance though as Mayweather will pick him apart at range and counter him with right hands. From what I've seen, Mayweather is fully prepared to battling it out at close range (his legs may have gone to an extent) so it will be a difficult fight for Ortiz unless he is much stronger than Mayweather.

I do hope that he proves me wrong in a big way.

Cheering for Ortiz but he's about to be Chris Farley at the right cross buffet. Best of luck to the man...

As much as I want to see Mayweater get his butt kicked I don't think Ortiz is the guy to do it. Southpaws are susceptible to straight rights and jabs. Ortiz has **** defense and the straight right and jab are Floyds best shots. Ortiz is proud and tough but he's going to get beat up and stopped in the late rounds withboth his eyes swollen shut. Let's hope Mayweather grows old and has a tough night (which is possible), but I just don't see that happening. Ortiz and his amateur corner will fall apart by mid fight.

If Ortiz is so tailor made for FMJ, why did they need to get corrupt COrtez and the corrupt judges they got?

To those who tune in to see Floyd lose, you won't get a refund on your pay-per-views. :deal

I'm sure he had to accept him, and maybe even a cover story. But I doubt he would have picked him!
