1,765,235 out of 1,765,233 in the media scored it for Pac. Go fùcking figure. SD 12 deal with it and eat sh|t.

Top argument. Go ahead and create a new thread, call it "Rios beat Abril, deal with it and eat ****", then we can continue this conversation there

Thing is, in the majority of rounds, Pac wasn't just landing the better, harder punches, he was landing more punches. I'm not even talking about compubox stats. Those can be unreliable (it's a tool that does have some value though), I'm just going by watching the fight. Pac landed more clean punches in a clear majority of the rounds. There were 2, maybe 3 rounds where Bradley outlanded Pacquiao, and even then it wasn't by much. He did throw a lot though, but then most of those were blocked.

Anyone who scored that fight for Bradley is either biased or incompetent. Same thing goes for De La Hoya-Trinidad or Whitaker-Ramirez I and so on. Boxing is largely subjective, fine, but when one guy lands more punches, lands better punches, clearly inflicting more damage in the process, and maintains control of the action, and does all of this in a clear majority of the rounds, it's completely unjustifiable to say he lost.

That fight isn't a matter of what you like in the same vein as Leonard-Hagler, it's a matter of one guy landing more and landing better. If that doesn't win a fight, then I don't know what does.

i'll add....how do we know the shots pac "landed" were harder? bradley didn't seem phased by them. he was rolling with a lot of those punches that lampley would have u believe landed. it's bull****. that fight was close...a win either way by a round or two is legit imo.

Watched the fight again with no sound and this fight was very competitive. And I think the biggest factor in the differences between the judges scorecards and the press row scorecards is their proximity to the ring. The judges were better able to see the action and I think they saw Bradley avoid a lot of the Pac combinations that Lampley was going nuts about and had the crowd going ohh and ahh. So they credited Tim for his D. Pac landed some good shots but he missed a lot of his shots also.

I had Bradley winning rounds 1, 2, 7, 10-12. I had it a draw. There were a couple of close rounds that could've gone either way that I gave to Pac. I can completely see the legitimacy in the judges scorecards. Usually in a fishy situation, you have scorecards which vary greatly. But in this fight, the scores were very consistent. All gave Tim round 7 and Tim swept rounds 10-12 except for 1 round. So the judges gave Tim 8 of the last 9 points in this fight. The judges simply called what they saw.

I dare anyone to watch this fight again with the sound off and score it with an open mind instead of thinking about the fact that 99% of press row scored it for Pac. If you do, I bet you would agree that this fight was close. If you have it 7-5 or 8-4 for Pac, no big deal. But 9-3 or above and I would say you're insane.

Pac won the fight but his performance was also bad and very uninspiring. It was not a dominating one.

CompuBox Stats: Bradley W 12 Pacquaio
COMPUBOX JUNE 10, 2012 COMMENTS OFF
    CompuBox PunchStat Report

Taking a deeper look at the stats and the judges scorecards, Pacquiao had a 22-8 edge in total punches landed in round 5 and Ross and Ford gave that round to Bradley. Pacquaio had a 27-11 edge in total punches landed in round 7 and ALL 3 judges gave that round to Bradley.

Compubox is just a tool to gauge how a fight played out but not even close to being the be all, end all. It's just a guy inputting his opinions on punches thrown and landed and as i said before, that's the biggest flaw in this fight in that many of Pac's punches didn't land. Watch round 7 and score it for yourself. It's up on youtube. Just that round. Only takes 3 minutes of your time. Tell me how Pac outlanded Tim in that round.

In just skimming this thread, I see that you have compared Bradley/Pac to Abril/Rios multiple times, but Abril/Rios has nothing to do with Bradley/Pac.

Bradley was competitive with Pac; Rios got schooled by Abril.

    Completely different scenarios.

One thing I noticed when I watched the fight last night the rideside announcers gave Bradley credit for his work in the last three rounds but completely ignore the fact that the last three looked exactly like the majority of the first 9

You had bradley winning round 1 and 2?? Pac landed the defining punches on those rounds where as bradley was hitting arms jabbing to the air lol.
