T, all i can hint,my fighter was not from Europe, and was one of boxings greatest
untalked about crowd pleasers. Today, would be a champ in his division...
And his last name certainly didn't define him !

How about Argentinian Eduardo Lausse... who once floored iron-chinned Gene Fullmer?

That was Eugene Criqui... but I don't think, any of his opponents fits the description.

B,you nailed it. Why am i not surprised ?
Eduardo Lausse who cerainly was not [LOUSY] from argentina was a great
crowd pleaser, and left hooker, who licked Kid Gavilan and Gene Fullmer, dropping Fullmer in a decision win. Lausse would be a champion today, no doubt. I saw him one time ringside in the 1950s, and he kod a friend of mine Georgie Small . Hope all is well B.:good

    Thanks, Burt.

Oh, man... this riddle has been driving me crazy all day! Until the hint about a banger who dropped an iron chin in a winning fight. Then I was pretty sure, it had to be Lausse.
