I wont lie.I wanted him to lose last night. He represents some bad things happening today in boxing-gift belts, padded records, gift decisions, using banned substances, skipping tests...
But last night he shinned and looked great against decent opposition.Looked great as a mexican fighter, taking shots in order to deliver one.He took everything Lee brought and took it like if he was fighting a LW, he smiled at Lee's power and walked thru his punches.
    And i give him credit.
Did he weigh 20 lbs the next day?well, that's not illegal. His opponent could have done the same.Friday night he was below 160.Unless the rules get changed.
How will he handle Martinez? i dont know: the size difference, his solid chin, his age and his aggresive style cant be ignored. He has improved,no doubts.
Hope all doubts can be cleared about clean testing, i dont have any proof of anything illegal so far.

I don't understand why others cant do what Cuban did? They have to come up with "lee was just another bum".

God **** kid.. I have been saying Jr via tko with Martinez... Martinez will box well for 3-6 round and Jr doing good in spurts ... but little by little he'll catch up to Martinez.. the size chin body work and aggressiveness will be to much for the old man

He showed a chin and some heart in there.. can't **** on him.

But I like Canelo better. I'd like to see a fight between the two.

For all his flaws he also represents a boxer with no amateur pedigree having big success. That to me is a incredibaly special achievement.

I always been more a Canelo fan, but cant ignore that Junior is stepping up the competition.Other than Martinez-wich could turn to be a close fight-i really dont see anybody else beating him at 160.Lee isnt a bum, not a superstar but a solid MW trained by a respected corner.Junior was laughing at Lee's shots. This is not the same Junior who fought Molina,Vanda or Zbik.
