I was just trying to figure out how Hatton could be ranked so low after all his accomplishments, and only losing to p4p number 1 guy who is now retired..hmm
I'm keeping him at least 15, maybe a bit higher and his May 2nd performance will be huge. Even if he loses, but fights a close fight I won't drop him much. I can't have him higher currently because I am not impressed with a win over Paulie who I felt was very overrated. May 2nd will tell the true story of where Ricky is at.
do you allocate certain percentage in the overall ability and talent of a fighter? i see lopez high in the list despite not that deep resume...
I try not to do that too much. Right now, I believe Lopez would beat anyone at 122. We will see what happens with Gerry Penalosa though.
what is the reason why you put lopez that high? your list is 100% accomplishment right? lopez win over de leon is not top 10 material i also put lopez quite high and my reason is he has great overall ability..
bingo! that is the true definition of p4p...i feel that who beat/shall beat who is almost the same as the overall ability list...
but i would say the there should be a balance of accomplishment and overall ability..50-50 is not bad
That's sorta where I'm going to go with this one. Partly ability and skillz as in who beats who if they are the same size, and partly on how and what the fighter actually does in the ring. Yeah I agree on the balance thing.
