Hang on, they're pretty good wins both, considering that Middlweight was barely his natural weight-class. Then throw on the likes of Macklin, Dzinziruk, Barker, Bunema, (Cintron)... I guess it might depend on how much you rate physical aspects such as height, poundage etc when factoring in pound for pound rankings. As Martinez is/was as good as a career welter or light-middle, I give him a little bit extra credit for moving up and beating down two of the best middle's.
Barker was a B lvl nobody, Macklin is another euro flash in the pan, Dzin sucked ass. I wouldn't be at all shocked to see JCC Jr. put him up against the ropes and ****ing maul Sergio. By NO stretch of the imagination is Martinez anywhere near the level of Juan ****ing Manuel Marquez and it's a goddam insult to have him there. Paul Williams beat him legit in the first fight. Margarito kicked the living **** out of him. HBO ****ing hypes some clown and everybody jumps on the bandwagon, it's sickening and disrespectful to the fighters like JMM who have worked 10x as hard and proven to have 10x as much ability. I doubt very VERY much if Sexy will even make HOF.
Did you focus on boxer's potential, skills or resume? It's one of the worst p4p ranking I've seen (mainly after top10), no hate just sayin'.
See I think that's a ridiculous thing to say. These lists are entirely subjective, they are open for debate, but to just say that. Well, I look forward to seeing your ratings.
Why so? I personally don't put much at all in either the Mtagwa or Barros wins. Salido is a good win, Solis and Ponce De Leon are decent too. Another win along these lines and I would have him just outside my top 10.
