Froch is a good fighter but needs to work on defence, rumours of a Froch and Pavlik fight could be a good battle..

If his next fight is against one of the people he's been publicly discussing (Bute, Kessler, Hopkins, Pavlik), then yes, he'll lose his next fight. Fortunately for him, talent isn't everything in boxing, and you can go places with a good heart, chin and power. But he's still slow as hell, and he'd still be outboxed by any decent technical boxer with decent talent. It's just a question of whether he can impose his will on them.

I didn't think much of Froch at first. But even though Jeramain Taylor hasn't been getting much respect lately I picked him to beat Froch. Carl did a good job coming from behind and a knockdown to put Jermain away. Apparently it ain't over until it's over with Carl. So, I wouldn't be too quick to pick against him , even against Pavlik, Butte or Kessler.

He better get Hopkins at a catchweight, because the other two (Pavlik and Bute) will take his belt. Essentially, the first great fighter without a gassing problem ruins Froch. The Pascal fight was a lot closer than those scorecards gave. More like 115-113 really.

No need for any hate for the guy. He aint no master boxer but is willing to get stuck in with the best. He hasn't been a pro for long and openly admits that he hasn't got much time left. I think he will lose to Hopkins but i think he takes Bute and Kesslers heart late on. KO's Bute and the Kessler fight could go either way in a decision.
Pavlik would be a war that i'd love to see

Froch would stop Bute i have no doubt about that
Pavlik would be a close fight, it really would depend on who could handle whos power better
I think he would get beat by Kessler and Hopkins (i think hopkins would school him to be honest simelar to what he did with Pavlik)

:good Sounds like you are a fan of boxing and wants to see the best vs. the best. Somehow it is all new to the US-fans, because fore years they only saw US vs. US. Therefore they have to disrespect Froch :-(

froch will stay champion as long as he stays away from kessler or hopkins.i feel he would beat bute/andrade and pavlik in a close 1 for that matter,as i dont think kp carries his savage middleweight power up to smw.as for abraham, that guy just needs to stop fighting bums.

Froch is a man who was in the right place at the right time. Pascal is a B- or C+ type fighter on a level with Miranda or Zuniga. Froch showed an amazing "will to win" against Jermain Taylor. However, between July 2005 and February 2008 Jermain went 24 rounds with Bernard Hopkins, 12 Rounds with Winky Wright, and 19 rounds with Kelly Pavlik. Hopkins ruins fighters, Pavlik ruins fighters, and Winky ain't no walk down primrose lane. JT was damaged goods.

If Froch/Bute gets made, I expect Lucian to score a very clear UD over Froch. Bute does pretty much everything better than Froch.
