    Just settling in now, after a long ass flight and a long ass sleep. This will be my only post for about a week, I need to catch up with work anyway.

    How does it feel, Froch fans??!??!?!??? Man he had a great night. I don't want to think I jinxed it, but here is my programme signed by Carl himself. Decebal and I got to talk to them on a pure coincidence, they had rented a pub, an entire pub in a remote alley that wasn't busy at all. I talked boxing with Wayne while Lee and Carl were inside, and Wayne's woman actually took my programme inside and got Carl to sign it for me. Amazing people, and I thought they were underestimating Bute...

    ...Bute, who came out flat on the night. I don't want to comment on it still, I even have yet to watch it on youtube!!! I'll wait a little bit, as it was quite the disappointment.

    Speaking of youtube, here I am at 4h40 am in Leeds reflecting on this stuff... Decebal with the camera.

    The only positive thing I can say about Bute is that , beside the I'm-not-ready-Mikkel he pulled back in 2008 (or 09, whatever), he didn't do something like this..... taken from my seat outside a pub close to old' town in York.

    Glad you enjoyed you trip! I won't make any more Bute bald jokes from now on, I promise. They were running a bit thin anyway, just like Lucian's h . . . . . nah. I'll leave it.

    It was a great fight and Bute put his money where his mouth was and stepped into the other guys backyard and put his title on the line. Respect!

    I've to admit I felt quite bad for you mate, but I'm glad you've enjoyed your time. You're a true fan, not many have done such trips to see their champions fight. Full credit to you. :good

    Glad you enjoyed your trip, the atmosphere was amazing from both sets of fans, Butes fans were probably the best I've seen for a foreign fighter in the UK. Recognise both pubs in the photos, Wetherspoons in Leeds Train Station, and by the floor and proximity to the river the "Kings Head" in York (am I right? Funny how you remember certain things when pissed).
