I posted this in another thread but here goes...

If Mayweather fought Margo it would pan out like the 1st 6 rounds of Cotto Vs Margo...however this one sided exhibition will continue until the 12th. And here are the reasons.

    1. Mayweather is a much better boxer than Cotto. His footwork and defence will be enough to stop Margo from scoring when they are in centre ring. Floyd will be able to land any punch he wants to against Margo. Its just a case of which one.

    2. Many of you might think that if Floyd gets stuck on the ropes Margo will punish him. Well...i dont think so. De La Hoya, who is a much more dynamic boxer than Margo, had Floyd on the ropes and threw combo after combo and landed very little. Not only did he land very little but he got countered with great right crosses.

The only thing that will keep this fight interesting is Margos will. He will be able to take Mayweathers best punches and keep coming. However as we saw on saturday, if you keep moving and give Margo angles you can defeat him.

    Mayweather UD Margo 117-111

Why does this retort look strangely familiar?

Looks like it came right from The Joyboy handbook: "How to avoid the truth"

    I'd call it logic.

I was a doubter in PBF before the ODLH fight. I am a big Oscar fan ever since and of course I was rooting for him. I really thought Oscar would knock Floyd out.

I can't count out Margarito, but I see it like the PBF-Oscar fight. Oscar started out strong on that fight but PBF found a way to fight back. PBF is boring as hell, but he knows how to win.

Logic dictated in that Cotto would beat Margarito by late round stoppage or Unanimous decision, due to his pure boxing ability, his speed, ring generalship, and body attack.
    Logically, Cotto should have won.
But that's not what happened , is it?

The Delahoya vs Mayweather fight was decided by ONE POINT.
It was within ONE POINT of being a draw. For some odd reason one of the judges scored the last round for Floyd which he clearly lost.

Logic also dictates that Margarito will destroy Oscar. Something Floyd could not do.

Money May would win the fight convincingly. If Cotto managed to make Margo looked foolish in the early rounds imagine what would the MASTER IN DEFENSE do to a plodding Margo. The fight will be like the early rounds of Cotto vs. Margo only this time the beating will continue till 12.
