I was shocked as was most of the crowd in the club we were watching the fight in when they announced Rios the winner.
Abril's jab is a good straight jab but it is not a power shot by any means. Then again most jabs are not power shots. You are reading a lot into that pic. Every landed punch distorts your opponent's face to some degree. Rios was not hurt by the punch however.
There are many many pics online of that fight. But in fact if you do a Google search of "Abril vs Ríos" there is almost not a single pic of Ríos hitting Abril.
I have noticed this too. Makes a person wonder why no one bothered to post the pic of the righthand Brandon landed that made Abri's legs buckle. We all know everything posted on the internet is true, right?
Don't bother with these two. They still think Solis beat Vitali cuz he was 'winning' before he got knocked out. :rofl The jab is an under rated and mostly misused punch. I even remember Antonio Tarver commenting that someone threw and used their jab "almost like a punch". atsch As I've said repeatedly, Rios didn't do much to avoid Abril's punches simply because he didn't need to. They had no power and were therefore ineffective.
Any word on what he wants to do after the Alvarado rematch? Also what's Rios relationship like with Donaire?
Heavens forbid that someone with an actual link to boxing/boxers should post on this cesspool of a haters forum.
Eh? As far as I know, Brandon has never come across as a douche on tv (with the exception of that freddie roach thing) You are one of the biggest haters though.
