Tremendous body shot then the big KO. I had a VHS Mike Tyson's Greatest Hits and I still remember this one from it. I think the narrator said something about how he would hit them in the body and if they made the mistake of protecting their midsection....

Who does he hit on the chin...the guy backs to the ropes and just collapses. Delayed reaction but KO unlike Berbick's dance.

Yeah, but the look on Ribalta's face when that lightning fast combo put him on the floor. Totally bemused like he was thinking 'what the f**k just happened?'

Tyson also broke Jesse Ferguson nose and put him on the floor with the same combo when they fought and I'm sure Tyson tried the same right hand body shot then right uppercut move on Berbick just before the finish but missed with the uppercut which led to him having to connect with the follow up left hook that everyone remembers which finished the fight.

I believe Gross was booked for murder only 2 weeks after the fight.

You're correct about Trent Singleton, and your description of Tyson's delivery is spot on. :good

His last fight was against Razor Ruddock on the Spinks/Tyson undercard. The triple murder conviction has him in the clink until 2048.

So many great ones, Botha was amazing, but the best is Berbick. Nobody mentioned Tilman

Watching the Botha fight right now on Showtime Extreme. It's Tyson Month on Showtime. Every Thursday they're showing all his fights from Showtime, so it's Ruddock through Etienne.

The Pinklon Thomas knockout has always been my favorite...it was thorough, brutal and badass all the way,

Oh that's right. He wasn't booked for murder until after Ruddock. The triple murder actually took place 2 weeks after he fought Tyson.

Definitely the Berbick knockout, it's all good and well knocking out Journeyman but to make a statement like that was very impressive.
