Worth buying Mac? I’m in need of a good read. I read Jacks autobiography a long time ago. I borrowed it on a whim from the library (while doing work experience as a librarian assistant) as a pimply teen and loved it. Read it in a matter of days. His story is a fascinating one a true American rags to riches tale.
Have not a particular fav, in the running : Battling Nelson, Tom Sharkey, Fred Apostoli, Basilio, Saad, Briscoe, Naploes, Olivares, and Monzon.

Even in his 70s he presented as a imposing figure, i doubt many refused to pay their bill at his restaurant back in the day. Just think how good a fighter he could have become if he was not a smoker..........................
