I spar him three times a week no more, towards this fight I cut down the sparring in the last week, we would spar yes but we would work on specifics that combo that scored the knock out is exactly what we worked on in sparring saturday before the fight. but three times a week is plenty of sparring no more, we do 4-6 three minute rounds with speedy guys and heavier guys so he learns how to deal with guys who have speed and guys who pressure you who can punch. That was the only real knock out of the card, the rest were stopped by the ref standard TKO ****, but this was the only fight that someone was on their ass, He got three trophies one for the fight, one for knock out of the night and another for fighter of the night.
The trainer looked more nervous than his fighter.LOL good luck my friend ,you need it dealing with boxers.
