Then do pls tell me the difference between an exhibition and a proper fight aside from the rules einstein. How does it feel then?
i don't know i haven't had a real bout, but from what i have seen it is a lot harder and alot more intense, here we don't call anything not under aba, a fight here, they are nothing more than exhibitions they dont go in the records.
Thanks yall for the response. I have currently had 4 fights, won 3 of them. Yea i know my chin was way up but becouse it was my first fight i was so nervous that i realy forgot to keep my chin down
I had that problem about a year back my chin kept goin up mostly when i would go silly or when i was knackered my coach made me stick a sponge ball under ma chin for bout 3months when doin bag work i no it sounds silly but nw my chin stays low without thinkin even when im exhausted.
That is actually true. The only bouts that count to your record are official bouts under ABA rules, with an Official in Control Present, Doctors, Judges etc. Lots of formalities. And yes, a bout is different than a demonstration, since neither guys want a loss on their record. Also, once they get to bout level, they are both beter.
I know that. Problem is, amateur boxing here in the Philippines is not that supported. So the gyms here in the country just compete with each other. Problem here is, if you want to be amateur, you have to represent the Philippines in the olympics. So for us, the competition is a big thing. So for us the competition is like a real fight because none of us wouldn't wanna lose.
