You need to work for a dominant position and ground and pound; classic style. Don't get cute and leave yourself open for subs - use an approach similar to Forrest Griffin's gameplan against Rua, but don't bother trying for any kind of submissions. The more basic the better.
iight thanks bro. BTW my wrestling clicnh is pretty good i did a few Greco roman tourneys and did pretty well. i took silver in 2. BTW. its an amateur fight so no elbows. and lets say i punch the gy and he falls down. then he has 10 seconds to get back up. its very weird.
For gods sake why don't you learn to spell? How on earth is anyone supposed to take you seriously when you cant even string a coherent sentence together?
Soak your face in a bowl of alcohol before the fight. It's an expensive method perhaps, but it toughens up your skin & chin. You're using small gloves in MMA right? Do keep your eyes closed, of course.
If you do have to kick read what I posted on the tae kwon do post that you put on there. Especially if he likes to box also think about using the front push kick or snap to keep him at bay sometimes you can keep them off balance that way.actually do what you do best BJJ people are really not that explosive so you should get the take down and control. these are only 3 minute rounds so if you take him down control him for the round you won that round. second round fake the front leg TD and come over with an overhand right (or left if yu are left handed) drop him or come up with a knee to the body or kick if he is out of range. just put it together.
Hey bro - always fight to your strengths. The worst thing that happens is when guys try to fight out of their comfort zones. Use your strikes to set up your takedowns. If you land in his guard keep your posture up if he tries to hold you down to work submissions. If you're in his guard - put one hand on each of his biceps to prevent his punching - get your posture - pop to your feet and rain down punches. If he tries to maneuver for a submission - stand up and get away or go back inside his guard with proper posture and hands on his biceps. If BJJ is not your strength - don't pull guard no matter what and stay off your back. Good luck. If your conditioning is right - you'll do fine.
my biggest problem is going straight to my stomach when im taken down lol. ive been working on that tho.
Just listen to your coaches. I never invited anybody I knew to any boxing matches either to be honest.
