Just for everyone whos been following my career so far and keeping up to date with the build up to my next fight on September 10th. I got a phonecall earlier on to tell me that my fight has been cancelled and the full show has been pulled. Hearing this 7 weeks into a hard training camp is devastating but i suppose thats how cruel a sport boxing is. Just got to stay focussed and ready for the next one :good Boxing is the only sport where you can work hard 5 hours a day for 7 weeks 6 days a week and not earn a single coin. Lowest paid professional sport in the world.
so you technically lost money? Don't you have to pay a chef, nutritionist, conditioning coach, and sparring partners?
No mate unlike the pros you see on 24/7 i dont have a chef, nutritionist, conditioning coach and paid sparring partners. Just me, my coach and other pros who are looking for a spar!
On a serious note, what happens now? do you now need to wait till you have an opponent lined up and start training again for all those weeks?
Ill stay in good shape and hope i get a last minute call. Either that or wait for my promoter to line me up another fight then start another training camp :tired
HJ, what are the differences between regular training when you have no fight lined up and a training camp for an upcoming fight?:think
