Funny how no one who is criticizing provodnikov is being called a hater. Criticize garcia n your inundated with calls of HATER. Could it be the guys who are criticizing ruslan are the very people who fling the word hater around like there's no tomorrow?

Love to know how u came to the conclusion that ggg and kovalev are better? Ruslan has fought way better competition. No? And isn't tim an elite boxer? Go ahead n say tim won but you seen the man get broken down.

Alright, he's a threat to ur favorite fighter, we get it...

No one's saying he's Roberto Duran. I've not read a single comment suggesting that...

What he does do is hard really hard. Probably the hardest puncher in and around that weight class with MAYBE the exception of Marcos Maidana.

All you gotta do is look at how often some guys get hit by certain fighters, and determine how they'd survive getting his by Provodnikov

Rios for example... Can't miss that guy

Floyd would give Provodnikov a 12 round schooling. Then the white supremacists on this site would be slitting their wrists.

    Floyd is leagues above Provodnikov.

Hard to not like Provodnikov....is he limited? Yes...is he beatable? Yes...Is he one of the most exciting guys to watch in the sport today? Yes... Obviuosly he can be outboxed and I don't think he has the highest ring IQ, but the guy is a warrior and he comes to fight and knock his opponent out. What's not to like about the guy? The best fight in boxing that can be made in terms of excitment and FOY potential is Mattysse/Provodnikov

Matthysse is almost certainly a bigger puncher than Provodnikov.

It's also hypocritical to say Provodnikov was robbed against Herrera and Bradley, when Corley was (arguably) robbed against Provodnikov.

Suffers brain damage then puts in a career best performance in his very next fight, that's not something you see everyday.

I had the score for the Corley fight much closer than the judges but I think the right guy got the win regardless. Hypocritical seems a strong word for something as subjective as a close fight. I don't think the Herrera fight was close tho. Very competitive but I had it 8-4 and ruslan clearly did more damage. The issue with the brads fight was an unscored kd which if scored a kd probly woulda been a ko seeing as how brads got up n fell the **** back down. And had it been scored a kd the fight woulda been a draw. Score the 2nd 10-8 which many people did and ruslan wins. And as I've said before...u get beat up like that in a razor close fight and take a knee in the final seconds of the twelfth...you lost. At least in this fans opinion. That fight shoulda been called when bradley did that ****. That's surrender.

I actually think Provodnikov is a little underrated. He has shown improvement lately and is definitely better than when he fought Herrera. Sure his resume isn't that great right now, but I feel like he still has a lot of potential. And win or lose, he's a very exciting fighter who doesn't make excuses, will fight anyone, and gives it his all every time he steps in the ring. He's an awesome fighter there are few in the sport more exciting or beastly.
