The site's okay and they seem like they're doing good work, but tbh I wasn't that impressed with some of the articles. Sports scientists aren't all they're cracked up to be imho.

Nothing wrong with sports science. Some of the 'scientists' don't look or sound much like scientists to me though. :hey

Would have to disagree with you there although maybe the title "sports scientist" is overused for some positions. I think sports science can only be beneficial as they use an evidence based approach to training in terms of nutrition, physiology, biomechanics and general S&C rather than coaches just relying on their own experiences (although this is still important). A lot of the advancements in athletics, football, rugby etc in the last few decades is down to a better understanding of how to train, recover and fuel the body. I think it's something which is undervalued in boxing and I'm not sure many boxers at the top level hire sport scientists.

Saying all that, I'm probably biased because I'm an apprentice "sport scientist" myself.

Checked out the site and was a little disappointed. Got a few little bits of good info and pages upon pages of what they plan to post in the future

Maybe they'll add some more stuff?

One of the 'articles' is on how to avoid getting a cold. Bsically it says use an antibiotic hand gel, get plenty of sleep, and eat carbs ffs.

Supine rows are a good addition to any strength program.
