My God, I see a lot of Rocky Marciano in Golovkin

I agree. But nowadays, the fighters make so much money for each fight that they can just duck the champion in their division and still be rich.

In the 50s, if a HW fighter wanted to make good money, he had to fight the champ. Marciano fought all the top guys of his day, whereas Golovkin is ducked by all the contenders.
