Stop doubting calzaghe because if you put your money on him through his career you would of made a tidy profit :deal

 

Bull****, Calzaghe his self admitted that the fight was pointless at that point considering the huge risk with little reward. Let's face it, at that point what has Calzaghe exactly accomplished to be ducked by RJJ?. Calzaghe claimed he wanted more money, wanted the fight to take place in Wales and had a hand injury he wanted RJJ to wait for and RJJ sure as hell wasn't going to agree to all of that.

If you think RJJ would have lost to Calzaghe prime for prime then I'd rather not discuss with you as it's a waste of time because I have spoken to the biggest Calzaghe supporters and NONE have even said that Calzaghe stands a chance. It's enough to say an old RJJ was actually giving him a decent fight and this is a Jones who has been shot since 2003 whether you want to accept it or not.

Also, Jones ducked Tiger? , yeah, when there's no one to mention let's pick ANYONE!, he didn't duck Hopkins and Toney yet he ducked Tiger. Sure thing man. :rofl

RJJ said he felt better than he has in a long time..... much better than he was against Tarver and Johnson when he was weak due to his rapid weight loss.

RJJ was not the RJJ of the 90s.... but most of you biased wankers should not have picked him to beat Calzaghe if you thought he was shot. I'm happy that Calzaghe humiliated the RJJ in front of the Americans. Although I respect RJJ for showing great heart and fighting till the end through adversity

 

People that picked Jones did so based on power hoping that he might be able to hurt Joe seriously since Hopkins dropped him, whoever thought Jones would completely outclass him don't know what the hell they're talking about. Above all, whoever claims Jones is not shot is an idiot, Jones has been shot since 2003 and even Joe mentioned that in an interview before the Hopkins fight. If you're unconvinced then Jones' fights in his prime are out there to watch, if you're still unconvinced then UFC is your friend.

 

Most of the votes for Roy were just people showing respect to what he has done as a fighter, wishful thinking, not many people with any knowledge of the game actually thought he was going to win.

That's a flat out lie. If you really read the posts, most were ROOTING for Jones, but thought Jones would probably LOSE due to the fact he is SHOT.
Most Jones fans (me included) were hoping for some kind of a miracle for Roy to win, cause he is SHOT. The fight proved they were right.

You're lying again. Calzaghe won ALL the polls that were made on ESB before the fight. ALL of them. So that means "Yanks" also thought Calzaghe would win, except if ESB has more british posters, which I doubt.
