nice i especially like the way hes got audleys heart i wonder if he has audleys ability to make excuses to...... he'll need it...
No chance Louis was the Greatest Heavy of all time. His punch picking, movement and ruthless finishing would have been too much for any heavy h2h the guy was an incredible fighting machine. THE GREATEST - no doubt in my mind. Ali-Louis would have been close. But Louis jab would have caught Ali napping and over 15 rounds Louis would use his body shots to break him down. If I get to heaven i'm booking a ringside for this one.
punch- buster mathis jnr chin- Pele Reid Speed- Oliver McCall Size- Roy Jones Jnr Heart- Peter Mcneely
i certainly would not agree with that, i think louis gets koed by lewis as does tyson. i think ali and holmes are the ones that might beat him with speed ring smarts and good movement. Joe louis has to weak a chin to beat lewis imo he wouldn't be able to take the shots lewis could get off and i think tyson at no point could beat lewis and is vastly overated. I have just read the other stuff you said about louis and no doubts he is a greater heavy than lewis overall but h2h lewis is a style nightmare for louis.
I would agree with his accuracy and his power, for quite a small man are exceptional. He does have some slick moves, more than people think. But overall, beating Ali or Lewis...no way. Ali would just be too damn quick on his feet floating around the ring. His jab is quicker and superior too. The speed would be the difference, Louis would look very cumbersome plodding around the ring in that matchup. As for beating Lewis...no way no how. Lewis ain't losing to a cruiserweight by todays standards. He would keep him on the end of the jab and pummel him. He has well over 3 stone on him for christ sake, it would be masscare. I don't think there is any logical way for a 200lb man to beat a guy that stands 6'5 250lbs with a piston like jab, and also proven ring smarts that negates most of his punchers chance. Joe Louis was down to a little guy like Jersey Joe...christ when Lewis hits him his life would change. People have to realize when they match up guys like Louis he was essentially a cruiserweight fighting cruiserweights for the most part, with losses to former light heavyweights and middleweight Walcott and Charles. Is there any possible way for Lewis to lose to Ezzard Charles? I think that really highlights the difference.
