I'm calling these my "hesitant" picks because the majority of the upcoming fights are pretty much toss ups but I'm going to go out on a limb, step forward, and bravely try to decide who I would put my money on.

Holyfield/Ibragimov - Ibragimov (I just don't think Holyfield has another miracle left in him).

Juan D./Julio D. - Juan Diaz (He's an unlimited stamina/punching machine that I don't see anyone in the lightweight division, except maybe Casamayor, beating any time soon).

Marquez/Juarez - Marquez (This an easy pick for me. (Marquez is too good of a boxer and too experienced for the inactive Juarez).

Kessler/Calzaghe - Calzaghe (Like Hopkins, he's just someone you shouldn't bet against).

Mosley/Cotto - Mosley (This is a hard pick. I think Mosley has too much experience...I see Mosley doing to Cotto what Zab did in the first few rounds only I think Mosley has the stamina and focus do it for the entire fight).

Soto/Guzman - Guzman (Another hard one. Soto has looked extremely impressive lately but, next to Mayweather, I think Guzman may be the best boxer on the planet right now).

Mayorga/Vargas - Mayorga (Vargas is the better boxer and is going to be the bigger man but I just think he is more "shot" than Mayorga).

Mayweather/Hatton - Mayweather (Same reason as Calzaghe...you just shouldn't bet against Mayweather. I think Mayweather will have to dig deeper than he ever has before but he will pull it out).

Well there it is. Let me know what you think and if there were any big fights that I missed. :good

I think Holyfield could pull the upset, and Kessler and Cotto will win their fights.

I agree with you in the other picks.

    Good picks with good reasoning...

I've got Ibragimov, Juan Diaz, Marquez, Calzaghe, Cotto, Guzman, Mayorga, and Mayweather

The only fight I would pick differently is Kessler\Calzaghe

Oh yea I'm right there with you. I want Hatton to knock Mayweather out so bad I can't stand it, but if I had to bet money I would have to put it on Mayweather.

Good choices, but I'm thinking that a soft, double chinned, Imbragomov doesn't beat Holyfield even if Commander Vander IS shot and ready to join AARP.
