Oscar dug his own grave when he started cross dressing, snorting traffic lines worth of cocaine, stuffing kitchen utensils up his cúlo AND being involved in blatant fight rigging.

Last time it was a hair brush handle. The kitchen utensil’s are from his 2018 scandal.

    A little something to consider.....

    Fonfara KO'd Chavez
    Loma KO'd Rigo
    Spence bludgeoned Mikey
    GGG destroyed Brook
    Cano smashed Linares
    Zerafa smashed Horn
    Hopkins dominated Pavlik
    Canelo decapitated Khan
    Walters battered Donaire
    Sor Rungvisai wrecked Chocolatito
    Mayweather schools Marquez

There's no VADA testing for this fight, I expect Canelo to not gas due to his special beef regiment during training.

Very good points and analysis as always @CST80. What worries me about Kovalev though has never been his ability to take a shot - anywhere - when the gas tank is full. Hes proven time and again that he can. His issue, especially since he's gotten older, is his ability to take a shot - anywhere - once the gas tank starts to empty, and that tank can be drained extra quick with bodywork. Kovalev has taken some massive, and I mean MASSIVE shots throughout his career, and if he took them well its because he wasnt taxed. This is why murderous punchers arent much of an issue for him, it's the precise punchers and volume guys that repeatedly touch him up round after round while making him expend massive amounts of energy. If you can drain him, counter him, and consistently put leather on him, you have a decent chance at stopping/beating him.

FWIW - im cautiously picking Kovalev by early to mid stoppage, but with Kovalev and the age and condition hes at, ive stopped predicting the outcomes of his fights with any real confidence. I dont think there is an active fighter I'd less like to put my money on or against than Kovalev. Hes just gotten way too unpredictable and has lost a lot. And Canelo - as much as I hate him - is a ****ing fighter and a damn good one. This could easily go either way.

Damn, I forgot how big Yarde is. Look at his back, he is a massive LHW. And those shots he landed on poor Sjekloca to end the fight were downright scary. I doubt Canelo has anywhere near that level of power.
