    Cool story bro. I'm being serious, enjoyed reading that as I'm also interested in the people's own experiences with the boxing world and that in itself was a pretty great experience from the sound of things (aside from the loss). You get to talk to Jack by any chance? He would have been in the same position as you years and years ago bringing his son through the California amateur system and then...on to stardom and the greatest win of the 00's.

    of course I got to speak with Jack and Shane Sr, it was a good match to be honest...
    and I expect those who do get the opportunity to view the fight the condition is you must come back to this thread and report what you saw...

    Isn't Mosley Jr. still an amateur? In which case, does it really matter how hard his punches were? In the amateurs, points are scored for landing, not damage...
