You seem to have mastered the basics ,though I would like to see the occasional body punch, more upper body movement ,and your right hand ,though accurate seems to be more of an arm punch with little leverage behind it.You showed a couple of nice left hooks and good balance, ,all the best to you.

You should post how old you are, how tall you are, and how long you've been fighting. For now, just guessing on your age and experience level, I think you look pretty good. You seem like a taller kid so pop that jab. I agree with McVey about the lack of leverage on your right hand. Practice throwing very short right hands into a heavybag using as much hip action (and as little arm action) as possible. Exaggerate the movement with your hip to get used to using good leverage. Again, you look fairly tall, so watch those types of fighters. I'd suggest Monzon, McCallum, maybe a Trinidad. You seem to have a very high work rate which is great, but control the distance and maintain your height/reach advantages. Good luck.

A thing thats hard for many boxers to do is keeping their technique tidy while working at a high pace. Thats a key basic area for you work on. Being accurate and neat while under pressure. Defensive lapses can occur during those situations as well. What I seen from a brief viewing of your footage was that you tend to want to lay your gloves on your opponent without much behind your punches. Work on the basics like bringing your jab back quickly after throwing it. Double it, etc. IMO, the jab is the best tool in the game.

Juan Manuel Marquez is a good boxer to keep your eye on for doing everything sound. His technique is textbook, not flashy. And he's very good at bringing his hands back into an orthodox posture after throwing.

Mind, Rome wasn't built in a day. And don't put too much pressure on yourself.

Send a personal message to Stonehands89. He's a trainer and knows his stuff.

p.s. Don't check out some Monzon but DON'T pull straight back from punches with your hands down. Only the greats like Monzon and Ali get away with that (most of the time).

You look good. You got good handspeed but don't follow your opponent around-cut off the ring. And jab your way in.

Here are some Marquez clips. Quality leverage, balance, accuracy, etc. Nice basic fundementals.

Physical co-ordination is probably the most crucial aspect of being a boxer, excluding the mental side of things. Timing, technique, etc, all part of putting things together. Marquez worked for many years in putting those shots together, neatly, above.

If you have the desire to keep in shape, the heart, and you're willing to learn, then things will click into place.
