Ok some know me well, others who are new here probably don't. Allow me to say that I was only ever a fan of boxing. It was the only sport I'd ever follow.

That said, I have been recently disappointed by a number of fight outcomes that have left me disgusted with this sport. After the Margarito-Mosley outcome I was really disappointed, but then hearing the news that Margarito (and coach) had prepared loaded gloves, I was completely shocked.

I removed every boxing url from my computer, deleted every recorded boxing match I owned (which was about 200 gb) and said goodbye to this rotten sport for good.

Allow me to say as well that I have been fan of many boxers and there are still some good apples, but who knows how long that will last. The sport is a foregone conclusion to me. A sheer mess not any different from the mainstream sports. We pay and cheer on these guys when they simply don't deserve it most of the time. They are overweight, they are bending or breaking the rules and worse, they are all losing to men a decade or more older. Men who were yesterday's news, creeping back to the top in proof that the newest generation is woefully inept. There are no heroes in this sport.

    I'm done with it.

This sport has it's problems just as every other, but there will be always be a fight that comes along that makes us forget the bad things.

Instead of deleting your entire catalogue of fights, you should have just sat down and watched Barrera/Morales I

Back from the dead! Honestly Ambition I thought you would have eaten your crow the night of the fight but I was wrong. You built Margo up probably one of the first to do so at ESB while me and others told you that Margo was flawed and limited but you refused to listen. In the end Margo's flaws set you up for a big fall.

With that said. This cheating mess around Margo is bad. The man should never be allowed in the ring again period.

I have no idea why you decided to give up on boxing. Outside of Margo you were a class poster. I truely hope you re-consider your decision. There is plenty of up and coming talent out there unfortunately for you Margo isn't part of it.

Well **** you then buddy. Boxing doesn't need any more fair weather fans like yourself. We all get discouraged sometimes but if you are a true fan the sport the politics don't matter. Dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

A clearer thinker would have kept his future options open and just not clicked the links or watched the fights.

It goes without saying that Ambition_Def has overreacted but that's all it is. He didn't think clearly, but we are all guilty of that at one point or another.

No need to give him a hard time about it.

This is a bit much. Margo loaded his gloves, true. It is not as if we heard Ali was a cheat or Foreman loaded his gloves. Margo was not that good to begin with. It is sad you let a limited boxer who cheated have this effect on your life. Grow up. I bet it was a really sad scene when you took all your margo posters down from your room in your parents house.

It's disgusting that boxing, a sport which takes a heavy health toll on its fighters, has NO protection for its retired fighters. It needs a union badly. Promoters like Arum and King don't give a **** about the long term health and well being of their stable of fighters...
