Yeah so my mates dad is a boxing referee, Richie Davies. I've known he is a ref for ages and knew that he got to ref an early Amir Kahn and has had a few fights in Tokyo and Italy to ref but I was shocked to find out he will be refereeing tomorrow for Haye Barrett. My mate, his son, is trying to angle us some tickets but its a bit short notice but anyway, this I suppose is my only boxing claim to fame. sorri ths is definitely a drunk thread but still more pleasurable than a flint island macca thread! richard also reffed danny williams spanking ast week.

wish I hadn't created this thread, never mind! yeah I already passed on my request to let the fight get brutal, not to let Monte cling on for dear life etc. not that itll work, he's a professional in every sense of the word. oh well, bring on the hayematrix now.
Isn't his wife really ill (the ref). Seem to remember the commentary team wishing her well during a fight the other week
