It was a good analysis, but it wasn't like this was the hardest fight to predict.

People always say this **** in retrospect. At the time, many people were giving Hatton a real shot because of his pressure style. The same thing happened after Jones/Ruiz. If you remember, 9 out of 20 writers picked Ruiz to knock Jones out. After Jones dominated Ruiz, people were saying, "Yeah, Ruiz sucks. I figured Jones was too fast for him. Jones picked him because he knew he could win. Ruiz never had a chance". Human beings...you gotta love em.

Well I always say, "if your work doesn't speak for itself, you better speak for your work". Some people regardless of the quality of their work, fly under the radar. Others seem to stand out like sore thumbs and get recognition. In regards to my predictions, I have about a 70% accuracy rate. Too bad I'm not a gambler.

    Mayweather-Hatton wasn't hard to pick.

You did better than a lot of the so-called experts, but Mayweather was a 3-1 favorite. Of course SOME people gave Hatton a real shot. It's always like that.

It's not as if you said some really unexpected things in there. It was common sense from watching them fight and knowing something about boxing and style, which since you say you're an amateur fighter, you obviously must know something.

Of course an uppercut is going to be effective against a shorter swarmer. Especially when you saw the closest style that Mayweather had fought to Hatton beforehand, in Jesus Chavez.

Hatton getting tagged with straight rights? Of course. Who doesn't Mayweather hit with straight rights? It's an incredibly effective punch for PBF. Hatton being swelled up or cut? Is that supposed to be a surprise?
