The Mundine vs Nievas fight was a gritty fight, which was a very impressive performance by Mundine and credit must go to the heart of Nievas who constantly stayed in the fight taking massive shots, showing the heart of a lion. Mundine asserted his dominance early through speedy jabs in the opening couple of round. Then relying on simple 2 punch combinations Mundine continued to trouble Nievas. In round 5 Mundine was taunting Nievas and rather embarassingly to Mundine Nievas landed a big blow and had Mundine in trouble for a while until the bell rang. From then on Mundine relied on his lighting fast jab again and won every single round according to the scorebooks of the judges. After the fight it was evident there was something wrong with Mundine's bicep after it was not connected to his upper arm. Unsuprisingly it looks like a small tear and he is seeing a physiotherapist in Melbourne as this is posted. Hats off to Nievas on a determined effort, this performance of his will lead to him getting some bigger fights in the near future. As for Mundine we only hope he takes the big fights in the near future. http://www.supermiddleweightboxing.blogspot.com/
dude no one gives a **** about what u have to say you are as useless as shoulder pads on a soccer player now please do us all a favour and **** off
He isn't even a two time world champion. He has never held a full version of the title you dumb arse. BTW.... Just to help you with your english since your an illiterate fudge packer: IT IS SPELT KNOW.... not I no that. Did you no this happened? The guy I was going to send those fights to is actually a pro Heavyweight fighter who probably wanted to get his hands on some good heavyweight bouts to analyse their technique. I have NO PROBLEM TRYING TO HELP SOMEONE OUT MATE. If thats all you can come up with mate I thinks its time to have a good hard look at yourself.
ottke was the champion when he beat echols u **** stain that was mundines first reserve grade title :nono
If you read the posts on here you might realise I have nothing against Mundine as a fighter. I rate his ability and think he is very talented. I just wasn't happy with that performance. I didn't start this thread. If you have a look the ones who keep talking about it are you guys, the nuthuggers. I don't think I have seen some of you ever talk about another fighter on these boards.
Exactly. He has never held the full version of the title mate. It has always been the regular with someone else as the Super Champion.
He held it by default for a short time when Ottke retired........ But then that "Champion of Champions"............ 4 time failed World Title Challenger....... Siaca.........finally found someone he could beat. And that would be.......:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
