PW deserve to be there...he is not a natural MW but a 154 fighter who is clearly the best fighter in that division. PW is the 2nd best fighter in MW behind pavlik...Williams is already better than AA

 

Why do we have this every time an American wins........... Shane Mosley and Paul Williams are not the number 4 & 5 best in the world

 

there is still no video on marquez sparring...nice to know that he is back. martinez is not a legit 122 pounder..and too slow. nice pick for rafa

I don't usually post in the Yankee forum, but I was about to ask the same question.

It's not the first time I've seen it here either.

For sure, he had a great fight against Pavlik, put on a masterclass. But how on earth does a guy, who was not n°1 on anyone's list before he fought Calslappy, suddenly jump to top spot after losing one fight and then winning another.

Keep in mind that the guys just behind him have been winning bigger fights against better opponents.

It's not about a U.S v Euro thing ..... but everytime we have an American win they always get shooted to the top of p4p even though they had harldy been mentioned before.

Shane Mosley gets put into top 5 after a good win even though for the last few years he was a shot fighter by most fans.

Then Paul Williams in the top 5/6 because he beat a semi-retired Winky

This list might seem odd, but Marquez goes above Pac because his work above 130 is far superior..... Vasquez and Marquez drop out due to inactivity.

Cotto would come back in with a win over Clottey.... Pavlik has to do much more to come back in.

Yes Cotto, He won't get his loss to Margarito overturned and they will never be able to prove Margo wore plaster against him, But in my mind he got cheated in that fight and is the fifth best p4p fighter in the world.
