Take that garbage to general forum.....Here it is old always beats new.....B&W beats color and, yes having no footage reigns supreme!
it's why boston tom mcmustache continues to reign supreme as GOAT as for the list, like ross' placement...higher than I place him myself but like to see he and packy macfarland (the ****ing best name ever) in the top 20. other than that, it's your list and you seem to be consistent in what you value (by my guess anyway) so good work :good
you're really selling me on that lately BUT i'd have to kick out ali (or roy jones) to do it and i'm really struggling with that
i think a case could be made for gans above both canzoneri and macfarland...i might move gans to 14. i'd have mclarnin above walcott to settle the tie but that's just me
Well it's all subjective. Both brilliant in their prime. I just think longevity counts for something big when the fighter in question was rated a top ten middleweight in 1940 and a top ten heavyweight in 1962.
it's his heavyweight career that's pushing him higher on my list but the longevity is a great point. i may hold the charles and burley losses against him to much and have not given him enough credit for proving superior to johnson
