Next week i am doing an interview with jeff mayweather for www.celestinocaballero.com. it is going to be quite the different interview since i plan on making this quite the different site. so ask away any questions you might have pertaining to ANYTHING. they can be tough questions, but keep in mind i am not going to be disrespectful to the man. an example of a question i plan on asking is.... If they are off topic or random, that is ok
Does this genuine fear/respect of Pacquiao run throughout the Mayweather family? Or just Floyd Senior and Lil Floyd? Also, this charade of wanting to 'clean up the sport of boxing' – How long do you think this will last? And do you not in any way feel ashamed of what your brothers and nephew are doing? Thanks
Being the more articulate of the Mayweather Brothers, do you not think that you have a responsibility to talk less **** than they do?
What do you consider to be Mayweather Jr's greatest victory? Also...if and when the Pacquiao bout happens, do Team Mayweather consider this bout to be his greatest challenge?
Ask him who he feels is the better trainer out of his two brothers. Also ask him if he could train one fighter who would it be. And finally ask him what is his greatest moment in the sport.
Indeed I can. when drawing up a list of possible questions to ask, it's usually worth taking a brainstorm-come-shotgun approach at first, refining the list later. So I was just putting the concept of the question out there. This and the fact that I can't resist being a smartass!
i am a smartass too. and so is caballero. basically it is going to be a smartass site. we are going to offend quite a few people I am afraid. but i cant exactly go and **** off jeff who is going to be a contributor! haha. but he has a good sense of humor so i will have a lot of questions similar to yours to ask
this is a fine question. the problem with the last was not the question itself. but the part about it being a "charade" etc. wouldnt fly. that may certainly be your opinion, but obviously i cant ask the man a question like that. it would basically make me sound like i was calling him a liar. and that is your opinion, not necessarily mine. it still would have been ok if there was a sense that it was sarcasm. here is an example of a question i will ask... "what is it like being the only sane Mayweather.....?" Knowing Jeff, he will get a chuckle out of it and realize the sarcasm Your question would not work because it took on a sense of reality in a spiteful way. also, you could lump jeff in with his brothers on the way they are treating manny. he has been pretty outspoken on manny too. if this were a hit and run interview, that might be ok. but this is a man i will be seeing regularly and he will be working on the site. it isnt exactly in my best interests to **** him off
Don't worry dude. I wasn't expecting you to take my initial questions seriously, and actually consider using them. Like you said, the spitefulness in that question is not disguised very well - which of course is my intention, as I like many others am not too impressed with their (the Mayweathers) shameless accusations towards another fighter, all in an attempt to drag his name through the mud, and gain a psychological advantage going in to the fight.
