Two things happened in that fight:

    1) Abraham got his ears boxed off the first time he faced a world class opponent.

    2) Abraham paid the price for the worst foul in his long history of intentional fouls.

Calling it a no-decision and taking away a fight Dirrell was clearly winning because Abraham hit him while he was down? That sounds like a very bad decision. There really should be no controversy to this. Abraham hit Dirrell while he was down, no one disputes that. Abraham should have been disqualified just like he was.

The super 6 fighters are men. MW champs like PAv who fights jmw's, and bums don't get credit. Being shut out losing every round to an old man when Tyson showed you how to beat an old man was comical to watch lol... PAv lost to the first world class fighter he faced, and lost badly too...

If Hippocrates is indeed what you intended to type then I fear your reference maybe lost on most- a good one though!

This is what everyone says but actually in real time it is quite quick and if Abraham had time to pause, how could he land the shot on Dirrell before the referee called stop?

Clearly I wouldn't advocate a Non-contest as the best result, the result we got was fair and the better fighter got the 'W' that he fully deserved.

how do you exagerrate when you're unconscious. It was a hard punch on the chin while dirrel was looking away from abraham, almost anybody would be sparked out. Dirrel fell like he was unconscious, and after he got up he thought he had lost by knockout and was almost incomprehensible apparently. Not faking.

I don't think he was faking, Abraham can bang and Dirrell has a dodgy chin so the expected outcome from Abraham landing flush whilst Dirrell isn't defending himself would be for Dirrell to get sparked out.

Dirrell was clearly faking, but it was an intentional foul that deserved the DQ. Dirrell is clearly a very talented but cowardly boxer who unfortunately lacks heart.

    Hey MichiganWarrior

I've read some of your comments on the topic and we all know where you stand on this one.

What do you think about Kessler-Ward and Dirrell-Abraham as semi-finals, how big would they be?

I really hope Abraham and Dirrell meet again in the supersix, the build up to that would be insane.
