i felt pulev really rocked and shook wlad early and in the last round, he pissed wlad off and wlad made him pay!! either wlad knew he couldn't rely on clinching and holding because pulev was rabbit punching and hitting wlad 2-3 times to the body with each clinch or wlad knew he had to make the fight exciting to get back in hbos good graces. overall wlad was just too big, strong and dare i say skilled for pulev. i did notice some excessive holding/clinching and elbow shoving from klitschko but at least this fight was exciting and pulev came to fight. hats off to both of these guys even though they looked like two big oafs in there lol
It's unimportant.But i know a big mouthed guy who hoped Pulev will be the new boxing messiah and maybe he can beat w. klitschko. Otherwise lots of person(maybe including some overrated boxing journalists) believe a tall and " heavy" fighter with good jab can beat w. klitschko. These losers stick to this idea. This fight proved this is a misconception.These slow tall fighters(Thompson,Pulev,Austin,Wach,Pianeta) had zero chance. Who can beat w. klitschko? I think a Mike Tyson (Bruno II version) type fast,hard puncher and explosive fighter. But nowadays we can see only clumsy,slow unathletic glass-chinned losers without heart. Nobody beat wladimir by jab.His Puritty,Sanders and Brewster I. fights weren't losses jab.
