Now That Floyd Washed Up JMM (as i predicted) There are obviously 3 remaining fighters left are pacman cotto & shane

we all know how the outcomes will play out

    pacman wins... floyd vs pacman
    cotto wins... floyd vs cotto
shane is next up after all that

the only way i see pacman can beat floyd is by getting lucky imo.. now granted i am saying "getting lucky" i still think he has the best chance of mosley or cotto.... he just rushes in and throws a flurry of punches and cant fight that well going back wards... i think the fight would look similar to the pacman fight except less clinching...

pacman actually has an improved chance with floyd coming off his layoff... imo i saw some ring rust in floyds movement & flexibility... but floyd should stil be able to knock pacman out but it would be a tight fight... either pacman gets knocked out or floyd would get knocked out... dont really see the fight going 12

cotto is way to defensively flawed... after floyd gets through with cotto ... people would refer to floyd as godly the way he beats cotto... cotto would just do what he typically does and floyd would pick him apart all night long... probably a late tko

shane would be challenging in the early roudns but shane's probably is he relies totally on athleticsm... he isnt really a thinker at all.. he can fight to a game plan but he isnt good at making in ring adjustments... this fight would play out similar to the zab fight tight early... floyd pulls away late

paul will never get a shot a floyd
berto should hope he never gets a shot at floyd
    margarito is banned

    thats my opinion....

    have a nice night

    :good

pacman is wayyyy to wreckless... floyd is wayyyyy to accurate

it would either be pacman got lucky or floyd broke pacmans ass down

hmmn...i dont think lucky is the correct term. More like relentless as Floyd Sr. described him to be:yep

I already have a feeling that Floyd is going to fight Shane next. Then the winner of that fight goes against the winner of Pac-Cotto.

its luck... he just rushes in and wings a bunch of punches.. i mean its a good technique if your fighting someone who cant handle it....
nah... shane will be on the back burner for a while... believe that

    Not really.

The JMM fight showed how passive Floyd can be, he is content with the boxing masterclass rather than trying to seal the deal and overwhelm. He could have walked through Marquez and stopped him at any point in the fight if he had the desire to, and this is Marquez who is completely static compared to Manny.

I would be surprised if it didn't go 12 rounds. Pacquiao is more natural at the higher weight than Marquez could ever be, combined with his footwork and stamina its unlikely that there is a stoppage (he certainly isn't stopping Floyd).

Mayweather is a counterpuncher. Marquez did not provide many opportunities for a counterpunch. Pacquiao would provide opportunities every 10 seconds with his usual pace and activity. It'd only be a matter of time until one of them got caught with something significant. My money would be on Mayweather.

floyd was only doing that to get rounds in... he could have bum rushed jmm if he truly wanted too....

floyd took advantage of the situaiton and made sure to get all the comfort he possibly could

He didn't need opportunities to counter punch, JMM was never moving or using his guard effectively. I take your point though, its more difficult to punch a statue than a guy who never stops moving, feet and upper body. :nut

Absolutely, thats what i am saying though. Floyd is content with making his opponent look stupid, he doesn't buy into the idea that you have to knock someone out to achieve a dominant performance, so generally, he doesn't.

oh i thought you were implying something else.... yeah floyd doesnt rush one thing.... but pacman seems to rush a lot.... i dont see pacman being particulary durable .. imo in 2 fights he has been punched less then 10 times

Nah i think so because Oscar is already hyping it up anfter what happened and there has always been tension between the two. Mosley is ready. Mayweather would have to wait until Nov 14 for the winner and wait for the winner to rest a while and the holidays and everything. Shane will be available for January or February. Should they fight around that time then the winner will get the the winner of Pacquiao-Cotto around May or June.

    ok .. think about this...

floyd vs pacman makes between 100-300 mil
floyd vs cotto makes between 50-75 mil
floyd vs shane makes 50-75 mil

if you understand something called opprotunity cost...

if floyd loses to shane... he potentialycould lose out on anywhere between 50-250 million dollars

so basically fighting shane is ******ed

Those are actually accurate shots. Not really easy to handle.
