Yeah I can see that argument, I think the Kova fight (whilst on course for another Ward win) was stopped a little early, Choc got straight up slept. Still think he's being jettisoned from esteem very quickly though.

Maybe another reason, is that Rungvisai isn't a well known fighter like Ward and that's why people are dismissing Chocolatito, because we all know that if your not well known, your a ****ing bum.

The difference is that Gonzalez was KO cold. The Kov stoppage was highly controversial

Although i think Spence Jr will be in there one day, what exactly puts him in your P4P list right now, 1 world title fight? a win over Kell Brook? 0 Title defences? Id sooner put Danny Garcia in that list than Errol Spence Jr at this moment in time

Though I had Golovkin winning 7-5 I was really impressed with Canelo, and he moves up four spots and into my top 10. Above Jacobs and Lara who I previously had higher because I thought they would beat Canelo, but I now think they're more than winnable fights for him. Canelo still has stamina problems and is too inconsistent, so while I lean to Canelo in a rematch I'm not so confident to rate him above Golovkin. Golovkin stays put. My bottom line: neither are quite top 5 p4p.

    With Ward now retired...

    1. Lomachenko
    2. Rigondeaux
    3. Crawford
    4. Inoue
    5. Mikey Garcia
    6. Kovalev
    7. Estrada
    8. Golovkin
    9. Spence
    10. Canelo

GGG arguably lost his last 2 fights and his official record is 1-0-1. He hasn't looked great since he stepped up his level of comp. I said if GGG beat Canelo I would have put him in my top 10 P4P, he didn't win so he's not on my list.

I didn't and wouldn't use the word "deserve" to defend my p4p spots. P4P is comparison of ability and I in fact rate potential more than resume. Though being p4p should take proving your skillset by beating a variety of styles, and moving up to beat bigger opposition. Garcia and Inoue have indeed done both, and they've been dominant in doing so. They have resumes about as good as Thurman's anyway.
